Question: I'm having a very hard time keeping my bills paid off and also having money in the back to take care of every day things. This is real depressing please help me I'm in danger of losing everything I hold dear to me. Please help me.
Answer: First of all, you are not alone. With $13 Trillion out there of debt, we're just about all depressed with bills. The challenge is to take charge of the situation, get help paying bills, and come up with a solid game-plan.
The first goal will be to budget. Start out with the attached Personal Finance and Budget Guide (which I have attached for you for free). It has some excellent tips on how to manage your money and how to get out of the cycle of debt and into a virtuous cycle of wealth.
If you need debt help, please contact a counselor (we have several online at:
Debt Help ) or you can seek a local advisor.
Also, if you need help with bill
payment services, you can look to pay bills online or set aside one afternoon each week to pay bills and balance your accounts.
Lastly, try to make a game out of your personal finances. Set short, medium, and long-term goals... and reward yourself for achieving each milestone with simple things like a dinner with a friend, a movie, or just ice-cream. By setting achievable goals, working toward them, and hitting your goals - you will start to take pride in your finances and leave the bill depression in your past!

A person needs help to pay bills. There is a lot of that we already know (who is this person). Their utilities are about to be shut off and evicted from their home. And the first thing they need to do is budget an income of 1300.00 rent and utilities total 950.00 car and insur total 220.00. That is $1170.00 and still need to pay for fuel, phone, clothing, lunches and cable/internet. Hmmm, yes let us plan a working budget. I am sorry, you are over $300.00 short and still need to buy groceries. But a budget will take care of your immediate needs. HOW STUPID IS THIS PERSON THAT FEELS THAT A BUDGET WILL MAGICALLY PAY YOUR MONTHLY EXPENSES. The cost of living has has doubled 3 times in the past 20 years and the minumum wage has yet to double. This country has been carried by people working for min. wage all this time and the same people will continue to suffer and have children do without so that those people with savings built up from the increased profit margins will continue to fail to feel the pinch of deprivation. If the min. wage worker cannot budget properly then they should do without. Unfortunately, minimum wage comes short of getting by. I think that if the minimum wage workers were to refuse to have their annual spending spree for this Christmas and limit it to minimum purchases this country might just get the hint that enough is enough.
