There were no gliches, no surprises, everything went smoothly, quickly, and satisfactorily. It was all completed in under a month! What a pleasure to do business with Guaranteed Rate Mortgage company.

Not much to say

I went looking for a new mortgage and this site was an option. They say they have great rates but in reality they only have the companies that charge extremely high closing rates. I have compared and the companies they work with are the "preditory lenders" you've heard about. Go to your local bank or credit union. No suprises and 1/2 the closing costs.

Fast, smooth processing! No hitches, no surprises, just great service!

Having my mortgage through Met Life has been great so far! I was able to setup an automatic draft from my bank checking account with the ability to have a little extra paid against the principle each month to pay the loan off early. This seems to be working just flawlessly! The only problem I had was in the process of setting it up, I thought I would have to pay extra using the on-line payment method; but I finally realized they have an option for the auto draft method - at no additional cost!

Bill Sample was the most professional individual that I have ever dealt with. He was always quick to answer questions, in a very calm and patient manner. Answered phone calls promptly. Just an A+++++++ person. A pleasure to do business with.

I have a 760 credit score, great income and a satisfactory appraisal. Promised a 3.5% interest for 10 years, could not deliver. Just a waste of my time.

I was very impressed with the professinalism displayed by Phil & his honest answers to questions. Would be happy to do business with this company again should the need arise.

They helped us with our refinancing every step of the way. Always impressively prompt, professional, thorough, and personable in their responses and communication. Patient, understanding, and responded to my queries to my satisfaction -- with no sign of being perturbed -- when I questioned their credibility or reputation. Everything went smoothly and we are thankful to have been able to reduce our mortgage to the excellent rate of 3.875% on a 15-year fix refinancing!

First, an agent promised to close within 30-35 days but he couldn't. They started asking me more things to do after 1 and a half month later then they asked additional fees twice within 2 weeks. It ended up more than $1,400 extra fee on top of original fee. Plus after 2months, they still couldn't close it.

NOT CONDUCTED IN A TIMLEY MANNER AND ENDED UP COSTING ME MORE MONEY I WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN

Lender provided a 7year ARM refinancing at excellent rate of 3-3/8% with zero closing costs. My interface with service person, Janine Roth, was pleasant and she was helpful and knowledgeable. Only minor negative was that the lender continued to ask for additional documentation such as supporting schedules for tax return that seemed unnecessary and prolonged the process so that closing took about 3 months.

I am still waiting for a e-mail from my representative on a closing after 2 months ??? I was bumped up from 3 5/8 to 3 7/8 on a 15 year ????

We were able to go from 23 years left on a 30 year loan to a 20 year loan for around the same monthly payment, after taking out 8K to pay off debt and rolling in the closing costs. Ted K. was great, I highly recommend him.
