I want to talk to you quickly today about Reverse Mortgages, there is a lot of confusion about what a reverse mortgage is, who qualifies. The most important thing to remember about reverse mortgage is the eligibility requirements, it is really only open to home owners 62 and older, who have a significant amount of equity in their home.

Basically, what a reverse mortgage does is it allows that older home owners to access the equity in their house to use to pay for whatever it is, their monthly bills, health expenses, whatever else they have that they need that capital for. Most importantly it allows them to stay in their home, so for the right person the right situation, reverse mortgage can be an absolutely great product.

It has been abused in the past for some bad stigma about it, but generally if you are in the right situation it can be a great product for you. Hope that helps, see you next time."
