Yes, you can apply for a home equity line of credit at a different bank if you were turned down. If you apply somewhere else you will either be approved or turned down depending on your circumstances and the lender's requirements. Unfortunately, you do not provide me with enough information about your situation to discuss what other options exist. However, if you are looking to get cash out of your home by taking an equity line of credit against the home, or refinancing the home I encourage you to the Bills.com mortgage saving center for no-cost, pre-screened quotes from mortgage lenders.
If you are looking for ways to consolidate debt I encourage you to visit the Bills.com Debt Consolidation and Bill Consolidation page.
I hope this information helps you Find. Learn & Save.
Best,
Bill
