Quicken Loans was easy to deal with and our loan officer was very helpful in getting us to understand all the various products.

This past summer I was shopping around for a refinance and came across Quicken Loans through an online matching service. I was also matched with a few other lenders so I was able to compare Quicken against their competitors. While my experience with all of the lenders that I spoke with was good, Quicken beat the competition with their excellent follow-up and good rates. They were also able to get my loan closed quickly, which was a big deal for us. Shop around first, but I'd recommend Quicken Loans.

It took just a little while for them to turn down my mortgage application

Fast and friendly service. Outstanding communication with learning and understanding my needs. Wasn't qualified to get rfinanced since I was less than 30 points below minimum credit score. If you have at least a 680 score and want to refinance, I highly recommend Quicken Loans.

The loan officers will not honor your requests. They hassle you by phone and will not give up. And they put me off over and over and finally when I wanted to quit dealing with them, they finally told me that I did not qualify for a loan.

Quicken Loans was easy to deal with - straight, to the point and professional. I've dealt with the larger banks in my past two refinances and it was a real upgrade to deal with Quicken on my most recent. It also helped that we got a great rate. We had talked to a couple other lenders and Quicken's rates and fees were competitive. We chose Quicken because we just felt more comfortable that they could get our refinance completed in a timely manner. It wasn't our cheapest option, but it was right for us.

We search for places on the web who advertise that they refinance manufactured homes. Quicken Loans and their subsidiaries advertise that they work with manufactured homes. When we apply and get phone calls from them they tell us that they do not do manufactured homes. They really are worthless in that they advertise a service they do not provide. False advertising...

I DEALT WITH KAREM JOSEY AND IT WAS MY FIRST TIME TO DEAL FINANCING W/ MAINLAND PEOPLE. WE ARE NORMALLY DISCOURAGED TO HAVE BUSINESS W/ MAINLAND COS. PRIMARILY DUE TO THE DISTANCE. BESIDES, A LOT OF HAWAIIANS MUST HAVE BAD EXPERIENCES IN THE PAST. THAT KNOWLEDGE HAS SPREAD LIKE A DISEASE. ONE TIME IT WAS IN THE NEWSPAPER THAT A MAINLAND BANK DIDN'T APPROVE LOANS FOR ONE ETHNIC GROUP. AT FIRST, I HESITATED TO DEAL W/ KAREM. BUT HE SEEMS TO BE A NICE GUY.I HOPE MYPOSITIVE EXPECTATIONS COME TRUE.

Quicken loans was the only lender that wanted money upfront to give you their good Faith Estimate. Another lender warned me that many people that gave quicken their money did not get applied to their closing costs even after they said that's where it would go. the lender we went with was Journey Financial. they were very polite and up front about EVERYTHING including their closing costs. They also did not request any money upfront.

The fellow I spoke with had mentioned I was in a very good situation,however the ending did not match to that. I was very disappointed that what was presented to me was of little help in getting my mortgage payment lower than I wanted.

Quicken helped us to find a low rate loan, and we shopped it against a few other firms. They promised us that they would get it closed quickly, and they delivered.

Brian, my account rep, has keep me informed as we progress through the loan process. It seems to be going slow, but it's probably because I am so anxious to have a 30-year fixed rate loan now that I'm retired. Quicken's web site is very user-friendly and going there keeps me informed.

We went through Lending Tree so multiple mortgage lenders contacted us. Quicken was the first to contact us and asked for our credit card or bank card number for a $500. deposit. We gave it, thinking (stupidly) that if we didn't sign anything we wouldn't be charged anything. Wrong. We went with a different broker and Quicken deducted $16.90 from my account last week.

I felt it was the old bait and switch. Advertise 3.9%, then when final came you had to prepay interest so that it wouldn't go up over 4 1/2. After finding and faxing all required papers assuming all was done and waiting for closing I was notified that it would cost me $3000 more to close. Payment was rendered for appraisal. I have not recieved the appraisal. I paid for it. Send it to me. You keep the copy. Appraiser came up with same price paid for house, we have added $200,000 to house. Not good.

While he attention was exemplary, failure to truthfully give me the amount of the monthly payment was very disappointing. I was told the payment would be $535. Suddenly, at a later date, it zoomed to $560. Imagine my chagrin. No! I will not use this service again. Betty Washington

I contacted several local banks and no one returned calls. Quicken Loans responded within a few hours after internet request. Matt Bollitier, Sr Mortgage Banker, responded promptly and accurately to all questions and followed through as promised. Complete finance process was very quick.

People we little knowledge of what they are doing.

Service was professional and fast. The fees though were a little excessive. Have recommended this company to all of my friends.

From the initial phone call to the closing documents this is the fastest and most efficient closing I have ever witnessed. As a retired banker I appreciate your speed and total commitment to providing truly exceptional customer service.

Everything went well, except I was asked to do a very dangerous thing -- take the house out of an IRREVOCABLE trust which could have subjected me to terrible taxes. I thus cancelled the application at the very end. TOO BAD.

Quicken Loans had not only the best rates, they had excellent service. The staff handled everything quickly and returned emails fast. I would definitely use them if I ever need another loan.

Felt pressured. Did not give all the fees up front. When I got more information I no longer wanted to do business with this gentleman. No longer felt he kept everything on the top of the table.

The loan did not go through. The appraisal process was poorly handled and the appeal process was a joke. I ended up receiving an FHA refinance through a different broker. Quicken Loans never suggested the FHA option--it required delaying closing about 1 month to include a construction loan. Quicken was interested in a "quick" turn. I felt bad for the loan officer because his back-up team including management were non-existent.

Rate was close to what I was seeking. Their agent has been res-ponsive to my needs

All personnell involved did an excellent job. Your way of doing business on line is great. However, in my case the loan was turned down. Incorrectly by my view as the underwriters use systems that may be outdated. My credit rating was excellent, I pay all bills on time but they only looked at my debt to income without excepting the FACT that I had income they found unacceptable. $6,100 was not in their guideline.

The process was so easy. The people were all knowledgeable of the process and seem very sincere in helping me. I was satisfied with all parties involved and it was completed so quickly. The rate was super but the fees could have been a little lower. I would recommend Quicken Loans to my family and friends. Setting up the account on-line kept me informed of any and all changes.

I have had about six mortgage loans in 20 years. Quicken Loans is best I have ever used. I have passed this new find to my friends and now I have friends who have closed loans with Quicken Loans from Maryland to California. Quicken Loans is accurate, professional, and quick, they even schedule the closings at your home. Hooray for Quicken Loans

I was referred to Quicken Loans in hopes of re-financing my current mortgage at a lower interest rate. The initial contacts were all favorable, but favorability quickly transformed into unacceptable customer service. First let me mention that my credit score is over 800, so there was never a problem with my credit worthiness. I was referred ad-infinitum to a bevy of "loan specialists" who always assured me that the new loan was ready for final approval.

Quicken loans made the refinancing process simple and relatively quick. Most documents were handled electronically, but there was always a real person, easily accessed on the phone, whenever I had a question. I would definitely recommend them!

A missed signature was not caught until well after closing. Quicken knew I was away on vacation but reachable by cell or e-mail. I was not contacted and remained unaware the payout was not made to the primary and secondary lenders. A fine mess to have to deal with weeks after the payoff was to have taken place. Quiken did pickup the costs and interest due to missing the payoff date

I was very dissatisfied with the service. I got my hopes up for a refinance only to find out that quicken could not help me.

Loan turned out to be a bait & switch. Signed up because of low rate (3.9% ). I expected some closing costs, but not the $8,000 prepaid interest being charged. Swallowed that, then would have had to pay extra ($3000) days before closing because appraiser was low. Our area was not significantly hit. Purchased 2003 $272K, apprse$300k. Put in $190K in improvements and addition. Plus 3 season room w/sauna & hot bub. Got bas good rate with local bank.

The staff at Quicken Loans were some of the nicest people we dealt with when looking into remortgaging our home. They gave us answers when local banks would not. They were very knowledgable and helpful throughout the whole process. They also did not make promises they could not keep.

Mr. Jim Duffey, the loan agent, did not inform me that my application would be cancelled if I placed my house in the market for sale. I happened to mention this information to Mr. Duffy's coworker. Mr.Duffy called me to verify this information then informed me that my application was cancelled by his company. I was required to pay $500.00 when I submitted the application. I believe I should get, at least, a partial refund since there was no appraisal done (Mr. Duffy 's suggestion).

The process was trying but successful when jack nacy finally got us hooked up - you go jack!

We thought our inital contact was way too pushy, his boss was much better, but they wouldn't provide discount information on good faith estimate so we did not use them.

What a wonderful experience. Very experienced and Knowledgeable. Will most definitly recommend to anyone looking to refinance thier mortgage.

Their staff is very knowledgable and respond quickly. They are friendly and even bothered to wish me a Merry Christmas. I personally think their rates could be lower, but maybe it's other loan companies false advertising of much lower rates that makes Quicken's rates not seem the lowest. It's also nearly impossible to borrow less than $100,000, but I was able to refinance thru Quicken for a $35,000 loan.

The time that I take to write this is more time than I was afforded with Quicken Loans to discuss my loan. I was told they had internal constraints and due to their issues I would have to reapply. This deadline was reached due to Quickens internal rules and their inability to communicate with me. They chose to let a computer generated letter inform me of a decline rather then show an iota of customer service. All this after I spent $2400 per Quickens for items requested by them. I will never use Quicken again.

Quicken was nice and reasonably helpful for me.

All of the loan officers and loan specialists at Quicken Loans that I had dealings with were very helpfull all throughtout the loan application and funding process.

We were able to get the loan and close within 2 weeks,with quicken loans. Everyone there was very personable and helpful,in getting our loan processed. Thank you

Very Very Good all the way through the experience

I dealt with Quicken about a loan. They told me my rate would be 4.625 when we looked closely at the loan they had the rate at 4.87. They also dealt with an appraisal company that appraised our property at $130,000. We had it reappraised after we changed lenders at $270,000. I sit on 5 acres and have a remodeled home with a 1800 sqft work shop. I would not deal with these people again!

Corey was extremely professional and knowledgeable, very easy to work with without ever meeting him. His personality was like you wanted to actually meet him. over all a good experience and would use quicken loans again if needed. thank you corey

My experience was terrible. I was charged up fron costs that violated HUD rules. In addition, extra fees were charged for documents that are public record and closing was unnecessarily delayed. The final insult was the mortgage rate was approximately .25% more than large banks, e.g. Wells Fargo.

Our experience was excellent from the first contact with Jason Day until we signed the final papers here at our house. Jason was always there to answer our question and let us know what was going on. I highly recommend Quicken Loans for refinancing. The ability to monitor the status of each step of the transaction was terrific. Additionally, the lender was very helpful. My refinance occurred without a hitch. I also liked the ability to upload / download documentation.

Quicken Loans did an outstanding job throughout the whole loan process. They were very professional, extremely knowledgeable and fast. Our loan closed in less than 30 days from our first contact with Quicken Loans. Most of the initial paperwork was done on the phone and online (except closing). They had very competitive rates and reasonable fees. It was a pleasure doing business with Quicken Loans.

We were pre-approved by Quicken and then we were able to close quickly and easily on our home. Quicken was very helpful and efficient. Quicken operates the way a mortgage company should.

I've been a customer financing houses for more than 50 years. I didn't get approved this time around...and I'd like to know, in simple terms, why not. No person called me about the matter, but I did get a letter trying to explain it. I understand decisions have to me made...but I would have liked to hear about the real reasons for the decision in a timely manner.

All went smoothly. The person doing the closing came to my home and was very knowledgeable and professional.

I had a very good experience when I got my new loan. I would recommed them very highly.

I tried to get a VA refinance through Quicken and my experience was horrible. The fees that I got stuck with and the appraisal were substandard. I was never told that I would be charged these fees and I did not need an appraisal anyway since I was going VA. I will never use any Intuit product in the future and I would never recommend Quicken Loans to anyone.

Christin Vance and Amanda Rucks were very informative and always kept us updated on our loan application and approval. We were able to refinance at a lower interest rate and not extend our payment schedule.

Everything went pretty well for the most part, there was problem concerning how a seperate property was connected to the primary loan - but they worked through it. Responses to calls and emails were very prompt. Very knowledgable and helpfull. Appointments for appraisal and closing were quick and efficient. Overall very satisfied.

We closed the loan in 12 days after I faxed the info plus a few extras I thought would be helpful. I've had several homes and mortages in my life this was by far the fastest and most professional ever.

Doran Eisenberg was very knowledgeable & helpful. Some of the staff dropped the ball with keeping me informed on a problem that they were trying to correct. I didn't get any messages during that time so I thought the loan had been dropped. Over all customer service was pretty good. I decided to go with another lender because of lower interest rate. Nothing can really beat that. I would recommend your company to someone else.

I was extremely Pleased with the overall process. They did drop the ball when it came to the closing of the loan my advise make sure to verify that they are really going to show up on the date and time that you are given. The time is set-up by a different person then the closer.

This was the quickest & easiest refinance we have ever done. Tim Barry, located in MI, was awesome! If I called or emailed, I had an answer within, usually 2 hours. I've never had service like that! I think the fees were less, but all that paperwork is confusing! Tim did help sort through it all, however, & we were VERY happy. We lowered our rate a full percentage point and Tim even went over other options & the pros & cons of each. We would definitely work with Quicken again

Unfortunately, my attempt to work a home mortgage with Quicken-Loan did not go well. After I was told what my loan rate would be (~4.35%) and paid the $500.00 deposit, I received an email that my rate had increased. According to Quicken-Loan this was secondary to the appraised value of my house. I was unable to get any refund (amount) of the $500.00 deposit. I WILL NEVER WORK WITH QUICKEN-SCAM AGAIN. Scott

If you are a first time buyer and have purchased a house before you shouldn't look and futher in looking for a Home Loan because Quicken is the only place to go. Fast, friendly, always keep you up to date where you loan process is, rates are very good, and you can't do better. I have had my share of home loans and by far this was the best. You will not be disapointed.

Loan was supposed to cost me $20 or less out of pocket. Ended up costing me $2000 plus. Don't have an exact figure because after 2 Weeks still do not have a hard copy of the expenses of the Loan. Totally my fault though because I got nothing in writing. Very disappointing!

Dealing with Anwar was a nightmare. He requested endless information and charged me $500 to hold an interest rate that was later changed. The information that I was asked to sign and return had incorrect info on every page. After signing a few I realized it was a really bad idea to sign incorrect infomation and return it to be changed later? Doesn't make sense when you think about it. For $500 more, he would correct the documents, however. What a deal. $500 leason learned.

Quicken promises a lot but at the end just collect your appraisal fee and leave you high and dry. They ask for more and more personal financial information then blame the underwriters for refusing the loan even though my credit score is 760! This may just be a scam to use your financial information or earn a fee for not giving you a loan.

Quicken Loans strung us out over 6 weeks, constantly asking for more information, charged us for an appraisal and kept asking for stuff such as detailed explanations of exactly where our funds were coming from and details regarding fund transfers. We have our own business, having been in operation for more than 16 years. Yet, we were contantly challenged as to the validity of financial information supplied. Closing funds changed 5 times, and each time we were ready to comply. Yet when enough was enough they said we did not have enough collateral, terrible waste of time and painful process with Quicken!

Used quicken the first time for home purchase in 2005. Thought it was quick and easy then, being able to fax them documents and they handled things seamlessly. Just used them again for refinance which consolidated Home Equity Loan as well. Sent in a few documents for income verification and they did the rest. Closed the loan 5 weeks from first phone call I made.

I responded to a Quicken ad that showed a very attractive refinance 30-year fixed rate even for those with upside down mortgagaes. All I got was a bait and switch from every one of the five lenders who called. All offered loans that were at least 1% higher than the advertized rates.

After the first couple of phone calls with this company things were great, happened quick, exactly what I was looking for. However, as soon as I put down the good faith deposit, things went south. Hard to get phone calls returned, and was very unsatisfied with the appraisal company. I left this "business arrangement" scammed out of $400.

I put in my info and was instantly bombarded with many lenders. They didn't offer deals that were better than what my current bank offered and were typically much worse. The people didn't seem overly knowledgable and continued to pester me for weeks after I had told them all that I chose a lender. It was terrible!

We aplied for a refi consolidation loan. Our credit score was lower that we thought it was but we have been working on it for many years. Most of my problems are medical bills that are not to be counted toward the score. But they did any way.

Was never contacted. THey said they would call but no call recieved

My wife and I have excellent credit and over 50% equity in our home. The rates and fee's quoted by Quicken Loans were similar to other Large Banks. I did find better with my local bank. Quicken was the second lender I spoke with in my search to refi our existing loan. The rep was knowledgabe, but way too agressive for my taste. I felt he was more concerned with closing the sale at that moment than hearing what I had to say. I was very put off by the pressure to make a decision at that moment.

I didn't have a good experience with the loan agent on the phone. I ended up going with Nationstar mortgage. Great rates and their loan officers aren't on commission.

my experence was great,seem like real good people,and i would use them again and again.and i still believe rates will go down

Overall I am happy with the loan experience with Quicken. Ian was very pleasant and knowledgable. I still don't think I got the best rate, but I will admit there is a lot about the process I don't understand. Ian tried to educate me anyway. But all said, the follow up, working with the closing group, getting back to me with any questions, and the way a lot of it was done via computer was a great experience. John

Mortgage was only $76k, Quicken said they couldn't help me--was interested in the Yorgage I hear about. Currently at 5.5 %, and would have liked to have refinanced for a lower rate; was disappointed.

I told them up front my credit was poor seemed caring to get my information flip the switch after getting my personal information guess thats one way to get it really you shouldn't play with people's feelings. Have a nice christmas

Excellent rates, terrific customer service, wonderful follow-through and very knowlegable. Went with THEIR suggestion that I give my lender one more try and they were correct; I got a much lower rate from them. If I hadn't been able to work with my lender, I'd have gone with Quicken in a heartbeat! In fact, if things fall through with my lender, I may STILL go with Quicken.

never went with quiken the loan officer called me and hounded me so many times I had to finally tell him to never contact me again they are worse than used car salesman all I wanted to to was get information on the current rates I was called several times a day even late at night and sundays. also the emails never stopped it was obvious he was out for the commission I will never ever go thru a internet site I will go to my local bank where I know the people

Quicken responded quickly and did in several hours what took other companies I called days to get back to my on. We haven't closed on out home refinance but will soon. I give Quicken an A+!

Quick & easy, and economically painless. I would recommend Quicken to anyone. I am very pleased with the results. Quicken sold my loan after I made 1 payment. Now I'm dealing with instate people. Quicken is still there to answer my questions. Couldn't ask for better service.

I was not contacted by the loan officer. The ladies who transfered to the officer did not return calls as promised. I had a blanket loan and I was promised a return call with an answer on how to refinance. I had plenty home equity and was not looking at a cash out solution. Does one property get paid off and the other have the mortgage. I was flexible and just wanted to participate in the low interest environment. My loan is and always has been in good standing. Customer followup is extremely poor.

Never got to lender; soon as mention property to be refinanced has two (2) houses on it; they get confused and are not about to work at finding a loan.

disappointed,like many homeowners in my situation with negative equity in their homes.We get bombarded with offers but no help.

could not make a deal,did not like some policies, then they compounded the situation by harassing me in an attempt to get me back to the table with constant calls.

The very 1st day I spoke with some one and received the information. I told him that I was not interested and I be damned for like a week I received at least one (1) call everyday I finally got mad about this nonsense and told the guy to stop calling me that I said this over and over that I was not interested that IF I RECEIVED ANOTHER CALL FROM QUICKEN LOANS I"D SPEAK TO MY LAWYER ABOUT A LAWSUIT and guess what the nonsense calls stopped.IF this the way ya'll treat people I'll never do business with you.

I was not offered a phone when I spent time with Quicken loans I asked about it and never received it. Nor was I offered it.

Due to your advertisements on the internet we applied for a second mortgage. After applying we were informed that you only take applications for refinance mortgages. We will record the advertisement next time on air. Un-fair but that is the system.

Everything went well and was satidfied with Quickien until they appraised my home and was approx 750 sq ft less than my actual sq ft. It's a tr-level and the appraiser did NOT count my family room, look out lower level with firplace, bedroom, 1/2 bath that was originally built with the house. It's a tr-level - why would you not count the lower level, 1/3 of the house? This reduced my appraised value per Quicken for a VA Streamline to an unacceptable value for the VA re-fi. Went with another company.

This whole thing was a scam from the first - & I knew it. I figured I'd still try. The people we contacted told us that the listed interest rates were not really available & after all their fast talk their rates were just as bad or worse than all the others - why can't people just be honest for a change?

Having dealt with QL in 2005 and been a victim of their "bait & switch" tactics, I have since been vigorously advising family and friends to avoid, ignore, repel and discredit Quicken Loans and instead take their financial affairs to other lenders or banks, where local people recognize that it does not pay to lie and cheat their clients. Got that, Mr. Burger? David W. Burbach Lost $500. to QuickenLoans Never again Quicken!
