Hi. When I started this process I completely forgot to read the reviews. This company has bad reviews. The only thing I don't like is that this company doesn't give 10 or 15 days extension to pay. I have to pay always the 1st because of the low rate offered. Another thing I wouldn't like if I can't pay online? I will tell you my experience. Actually it was good. It took less then 30 days to close. I did everything through the phone and mainly through emails. When I called or they called immediately they would return my calls and leave a message. Same with the emails. To close I was out of town and they sent a rep. where I was staying to sign the papers. Before that my husband had sign first at our home in another state. Overall my experience was good and satisfactory.
The Loan officer will tell you anything you want to hear, and then the underwriting department changes everything. Took over 2 months to close, the first payment date was wrong at closing, two appraisals had to be done. Funds were supposed to be wired this morning. Still waiting. This is the 3rd finance with Good Mortgage, the first two times were excellent. This has been a nightmare from beginning to end.
