Bills.com's Review

JK Harris is in liquidation bankruptcy and no longer working for clients, as of January, 2012. JK Harris was the nations largest tax resolution firm at the time it closed. Numerous complaints from consumers and state agencies had been made. Founded in 1997 by John K. Harris, JK Harris had grown to 325 locations in 43 states and employed around 500 people, at the time it stopped taking on new clients.

About JK Harris

Before it filed for a bankruptcy reorganization that was switched to a liquidation bankruptcy, JK Harris was company was credible enough to have become the nation's largest tax resolution firm. JK Harris, however, had a spotty reputation. The high number of online complaints echoed similar themes: JK Harris overpromised, lack of continuity due to the clients' being told that someone new was working on the case, and high-pressure sales tactics. The "F" rating at the BBB was also concerning, as were various government actions against it.
